This hotel is located just off one of the main roads leading from the Central Station. 10 minute walk from CS and around the corner from Dam Square. Very convenient. Breakfast was included and was more than sufficient. Rooms are sparse, but if you don't expect extravagance, you will probably be satisfied. Housekeeping leaves something to be desires. We were there for 7 nights, they may have vacuumed the room 1 time. And all the rooms were dusty. Other than dust though, bathroom was clean. This hotel was a very good value as accommodations in Amsterdam are very over-priced as a rule.

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was well appointed. The rooms had tea/coffee making facilities - albeit a bit limited with plastic cups! The hotel reception staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. The hotel is in a very convenient location - short walk from central station and close to all the sights.I would definitely recommend for a short break.

Clean, basic hotel, nice tidy room and comfortable beds. Shower a bit slow but it got you clean. Breakfast was just continental and got the day started. Not much of a view (other buildings) from the hotel bedroom. But it was warm and had a good working TV with quite a choice of languages (including BBC1) What the hotel lacked in it's luxury, it certainly made up for in it's excellent location right in the heart of Amsterdam. It was a 10-15 minute walk from the Centraal Station (don't go by taxi, they charged us 15 euros then an extra 5 on top for "our luggage!") Plenty of eating establishments nearby. Yes we had a most enjoyable Easter Break.

iv recently been in amsterdam and im very happy to say that i stayed at this hotel.before going there i trawled on here for hours trying to find the right hotel and im glad to say that i did.i bought the break away to amsterdam for 3 nights for my husband and i for his 30th birthday and was looking for a good hotel in a central location.i had been to amsterdam myself a couple of years previous and had stayed in a hostel that was miles away fom anything that we wanted to see or do and so i didnt want to get caught out again.the hotel itself is literally a 2 minute walk to dam square and is pretty much central to any other area that you would want to see.its 10 min walk to centraal station.we walked the whole time we were there and neither of us would be big into walking.
the rooms are standard,if not a little old fashioned-but most of them are in amsterdam, unless
your willing to pay massively for them.our room had everything that we needed, tea coffee, iron tv etc.my only small complaint would be that it was s little noisy in the morning time.breakfast wasnt great for me but my husband loved it.lots of differrent types of cold meats, yoghurts, cereals, toast tea, coffee, croissants etc
i really would highly recommend this hotel if your only going for a short while and dont want to have to get trams everywhere.

I stayed in the hotel for two night. It takes 10 minutes to go in the hotel by walk. The street is small and there are a lot of people but they did not make a noise. Staff was helpful. There is tea maker in the room. Wi-fi internet was good. Room was clear, bed is comfortable. Bathroom is good and clean. Breakfast was modest, but not bad. Minus: hotel took 50 euro guarantee fee.
