Stayed 4 nights at end of May. Stayed in 525 a suite room. Great room. Great reception staff. Great barman in pastorie bar (bar prices bit expensive though) breakfast was ok. Booking deal included breakfast and free mini bar in room. Had couple of drinks from mini bar on first night - it was free!!! Anyway next day bar wasn't replenished fully ( beer and sodas were - spirits were not) rang 1 call reception who said they would be replaced later - didn't happen. Rang again and staff apologised and said they would sort it. again didn't happen - only replenished the beer and soda. No big deal but mentioned on checkout and they credited me - so no problems really. ( maybe wrong but I think the cleaner / staff member responsible for drinks in the minibar has a nice little scam going....????? - or am I being cynical?.)
Would not let it stop me staying here again. Overall a good stay

Have now stayed here 3 times. Many central Amsterdam hotels seem to suffer from small, odd shaped rooms due to being fitted into the traditional buildings. The Radisson retains traditional charm and a great welcoming atrium and has great "normal" sized rooms, clean bathrooms, flat screen TV's and all the things that make a work trip easier and pleasant. I love staying here. Great staff and room service food very good too.

There's three coffee shops in a few strides of each other. All of which are very quiet ran by pleasant people. This is great for those who want to experience the coffee shop expirience with the hussl and bustle of the city. It's just out the central so you're never too far.
The service was top notch, theyre pretty much on top of things.
You'll see a lot of business men and older crowd, so you'll never have to worry about noisy folk. Great stay!

Great location in Central area. Plenty of pubs for breakfast. On the expensive side for food and avoid taking a car into the city if possible. Apart from the traffic problems parking is 50 yes 50 euros per night either in the hotle or other central parks. Staff were great and helpful and a billing error on my return was handled very efficiently by the accounts staff. Hotel ambiance very peaceful with inner courtyard but modern rather than old Amsterdam architecture

Room Tip: All rooms look out onto an inner courtyard so main decision is which floor you like

Neither the most luxurious nor the most generic hotel I've stayed in, I chose the Radisson Blu for my extended layover between flights in AMS because it was reportedly walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal. It certainly is walking distance, and it was a very pleasant 20 minute walk on a beautiful spring / summer day, but could be a bit too far if the weather is not cooperating. Staff are nice, hotel seems a bit empty, rooms clean and large for Europe. My room overlooks lobby on 3rd floor, and transmits occasional guffaws from down below but overall is quiet. Restaurant was a bit expensive but quite good.
