Hotel quite central which is quite good, can walk to many different areas of Amsterdam. Nice views from the rooms often canal views. That's where the great things end, the beds are alright and I got a decent night sleep in them but the walls are thin so you can here everything, quite cramped rooms and not much storage. The bathrooms are tiny and there is nothing separating the shower to the room so the water gets everywhere. The major downside is the stairs, no lifts and if your on the top floor like we we're then you've got a steep and thin stairwell to climb, no fun with a suitcase.

I took my girlfriend to Amsterdam for her birthday and we stayed at the hotel Di-Ann. we were greeted very warmly and even though we arrived 3 hours early they took our bags and stored them in the safe room so we could go and enjoy the sunshine.
When you arrive at the hotel (which actually starts on the 1st floor) the main door is between two shops. you are greeted by a very very steep staircase leading upto reception ( maybe not ideal for the eldery or less mobile) there isn't a lift but there is a buzzer at the bottom where they will send down a member of staff to collect your bags.
The room we stayed in was satisfactory. it was clean and smelt fresh. (all you do is sleep there, you don't go to Amsterdam to stay in your hotel all day) a short 15/20min walk into the main square. Ideal little hotel for what we needed. Would definitely go again.

We stayed overnight at this gem of a hotel. It's only 2 star, no frills but clean, warm and very friendly staff. The stairs were very steep but we knew this and the staff helped us with our overnight bags. They let us check in early and leave our bags in a secure locked room until we were ready to pick them up later on the day we checked out. The breakfast was fine, boiled eggs, meat, cheese, cereal, toast, juice etc. Don't expect luxury but for an overnight stay in the middle of Amsterdam it was very good value. The hotel is a two minute walk to Anne Frank's house and 5 minutes to Dam Square

Very basic 2* hotel. Located within a 5minute walk of Ann Franks House. Close to main tram lines. Hotel was clean and tidy. Lots of steps, but we were advised that when we book. Little dated but done the job. Free wifi. Comfy beds and good powerful shower. Room was a little small be we only used it to get ready in and sleep in at night so it was fine. Continental brekkie included. Basically it's just toast, tea, coffee, juice. A small selection of hams and cheese, cereal and yogurts. I'd stay here again, located very central and close to everything you want to see. Hotel staff nice enough and reception have a baggage room.
