“Small Boutique Hotel Great Location”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014 via mobile

Our attempt to check in early was accommodated by a very polite staff member.
Location is amazing for being close to most places but having that little distance that you require. Situated in a nice clean environment and right next to the park.
Rooms Are very small however it's all you require, comfy bed for 2, clean bathroom with all facilities and cable on TV.

This boutique hotel is in walking distance from all of the big museums and the best neighborhoods in Amsterdam. Breakfast is included and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed 4 nights and loved it. There is a beautiful back patio to have a drink on at the end of a full day of tourism.

Room Tip: all rooms seem to be good at this hotel

We stayed at Hotel Piet Hein for 4 nights in June 2014. We can not recommend standard rooms, as they are too small. Only space for one person in toilet room, and no doors between toilet and bedroom. We had a superior deluxe room, which is OK size, but not bigger than other hotels.
Breakfast is fresh and the staff makes eggs on order in one minute. The bar has only one kind of beer - the premium pilsner from Heineken. No drink card is avaiable, which is strange for a hotel in this class. The garden is nice in sunny weather.

Stayed there one night. Reserved a premium double room with 18m2 of space (supposedly).
Where given a room of hardly 10m2 which according to the web site is 30% cheaper then premium double. After our complain we were given an economy double room. When asked why we got the response of the hotel is full what can we do, and its a 3star hotel, no guarantees for room size. That is unprofessional to say the least...

27-30 may 2014 we accomadated in this hotel. beds are not confortable, wifi quality is really bad, air condition is not concerned in the rooms! And one more thing, rooms ground is not smooth. Yes i mean that there is phisical problem on rooms. the good things i can just say that the hotel is closed to some museums leidsplein and vondelpark. there is nothing else.

I stayed here for one night on business and the room was lovely - the beds comfortable i had a good sized double room.

Everything felt super efficient and smart. The bathroom ( or rather shower room) is small but well fitted out so does what it needs to do!

The only thing i'd say is there's no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but maybe that's just a Brit expectation!

However the coffee at breakfast is lavazza and very good! The breakfast room is also one of the loveliest I've seen with a beautiful garden and terrace area that you can relax in.

It's well placed for the museums
and a cab from the train station will cost around 16 euros.

From when we arrived we were met with friendly, helpful people who seemed to be concerned that we should have a good experience of Amsterdam, our room was lovely, very comfortable bed, great view from huge bay windows and a really good location for experiencing the best of Amsterdam, at an affordable price. A great place to stay, especially as it is so easy to walk to all the attractions.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the park have a lovely view and are very light. Also great for people watching. Rooms w...
