Stayed with my boyfriend and another couple, brilliant hotel. Great location for dam square, anne franks house and great canal views from the room. Although our room was on the small side it had everything you need including fridge, hair dryer and safe. Very clean with friendly staff. Breakfast was included and was mainly breads cheese pastries and jams. Would recommend to those without walking difficulties as stairs are steep but it has a traditional feel.

The room was very small- and very very steep steps to get to the room. No lift! so if knees are a problem, this hotel is not for you. The noise of traffic made sleeping difficult, but I did ask for a room with a balcony. The staff were excellent, very friendly and couldn't do enough for you- and they carried your luggage to the room.

it may be small and basic but there's a quirky charm to this hotel. the stairs are indeed steep, but it lets you experience what it's like to live in a traditional dutch canal house. my room was also small but adequate. there's a fridge, a kettle, and coffee and tea are constantly replenished. hotel's location is perfect: westerkerk, anne frank museum, dam square are just around the corner. best of all, it's on the canal district which is so lovely! also making my stay comfortable were the hotel's friendly staff and Mr Osam himself; they helped me with my luggage, called the airport shuttle to ensure my ride to the airport, found an adaptor for my phone charger, and provided honest information about places of interest (e.g. instead of going to Keukenhof as the tulips were gone by then, Mr Osam recommended that i go to Zaanze Schans instead-- and i'm glad i did!)

The hotel is all you need and want in Ams. Centrally located, walking distance to anywhere. Tram stop is 2 min walk away and couple of stops from Central Train Station. Guys who run the hotel are actually a family and they treat you like one; very friendly, helpful and ready to answer any questions you might have.

Rooms are very small, if you are more than one person in the room (hotel offers double, twins and triple, not sure about more) you cant place your suitcase anywhere. It just has no space for it - AT ALL.

Surprisingly bathroom was ok by size, but the bathroom door was just half a door (first time i saw something like that - that was funny)

Rooms are clean, bedding is comfy, they are ready to clean and change towels if you ask for it. we stayed 3 nights so didnt bother about cleaning, but just changed our towels. Liquid Soap (shower gel 2-in-1 is provided, though as in most European hotels)

Bfast is very very basic, but i think very few people actually wake up on time to have Breaky as AMS night life doesnt make it easy :)

We had a room with the balcony and that was a good choice we did, as we could enjoy the evening and morning chill out with a drink or coffee... Was a bit noisy as trams start working at 6am, but it was chilly outside and we just closed the balcony door by the morning.

The rooms have Tea/Coffee set, Safe box and the mini fridge.

All in all the hotel is a very good choice to stay and I will stay there again as I travel to Amsterdam often.

NOTE: the staircase is very high and almost 90 degrees up, so thats not for people with knee problems. But the guys in the hotel help with luggage up and down upon check in/out)

Room Tip: the lower the better - very sharp ascending. The Reception level, which is level 2, is the lowest po...

The hotel is strategically located if you are looking to visit the city's famous landmarks. It has nice view of the canal & decent walking distance from the Centraal Station.

Amenities are basic, but good enough if you are looking for a shower & a place to rest after day-long city tour. However, those that need mobility assistance, the steep staircase towards the hotel reception and room could pose a challenge.

Hotel staff is friendly, polite & they are very attentive. I would come back again.

This was by far the smallest room I have ever seen, but did the job. The balcony was almost bigger than the room. We had to put our luggage on the bed to get changed. The room/bathroom was 'old' and the breakfast was ok.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the location was close to everything.

My wife and I loved our time at Hotel Nadia. We knew in advance that there were a lot of steep stairs and that the rooms were small, but we decided to go for it due to the great location and great price and we were glad we did. Easy access to the tram, walking distance to Dam Square, the Anne Frank House, Jordaan neighborhood, and loads of restaurants. 24-hour reception means there's always someone there when you need to request laundry service or an early breakfast. The staff even invited us to join them in the breakfast room one evening to watch the World Cup, which we did!

We did splurge a bit for a room with a balcony and we were glad we did as it was a lovely place to hang out and watch the City go by. The room is small but they have thought of everything. There's a mini-fridge, a fan, a TV, lots of places to hang towels, lots of shelves, and even a closet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. We would totally stay here again!

Room Tip: Get a balcony, it's not that much more expensive and the extra space and the view of the City is...
