Good hotel, good location next to Rembrandt Platz where you can take the tram to visit the city or to go to the Centraal Station. Next to the hotel you can find some restaurants and bars. The hotel doenst have an elevator, so the luggage is problem if it is heavy. You can have a breakfast at HEMA not far from the hotel. The room is clean, good beds and the decoration is perfect!

Three of us (grandma's!) stayed in one room for 4 days and enjoyed every moment. The room was large enough for 3 beds, enough space for our luggage and the bathroom was fine. We did not mind the breakfast arrangement. The hotel is as central as can be. The noise at night was not a problem as we closed the windows. This is after all Amsterdam!!! Not a retirement village. Good value for money!

Best location you can think of! There are absolutely quiet rooms (not all of them). Very - very positive staff. 2 * - the best decor what I saw. Even breakfast is available for free. (not in the hotel, but very close)

Room Tip: Room 12 was perfect! Quiet, despite the proximity of the crowd. Large, spacious and bright.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is its location (noisy but only 20 minutes walk to the city centre). It´s the worst customer service I´ve ever experienced, I felt like they´re making us a favour for letting us stay there. At 9 am the cleaner started with the hover, and when I asked her if it would be possible to do it a bit later because we got there quite late due to a delayed flight she said if I didn´t want to hear the noise I could use ear plugs. I told this to the owner and he showed a very offensive and impolite attitude. It was more the manners than the content. Not the kind of place I´d ever recommend to anyone. Not good value for money either.

The rooms and location is good but instead of breakfast you will get an advice to get a few corners away for a 1,50EUR special offer breakfast. If you bring back the bill they will refund you the 1,50EUR. I think most of the guests will skip the 1,50EUR refund, so the hotel is so 'smart' that offers officially breakfast does not really pay for that...
If you have other similar accomodation nearby, do not choose them!
Despite its description, the hotel rooms are noisy.

Room Tip: Be prepared that double room will mean a nice big bed and a mobile bed...

Not bad by Amsterdam standards- decent sized room with a comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space Location is fantastic if you want to be in the centre of things- Rembrandtsplein is lively and full of great bars and restaurants, and is close to all the other main attractions. We had a room on the front which was a little noisy until about 2 am but it didn't keep us awake. The inclusive breakfast at Hema around the corner is very basic but enough to keep us going. All in all a good place to stay, we had some good exercise climbing the stairs and slept well.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back quieter, second floor involves a lot of stairs

The great thing about thiw hotel is it's location. Hotel Imperial is next the REMBRANDT place and pretty much near to everything in Amsterdam. The rooms are clean and comfortable without fancy furniture but really good enough to make your stay there pleasant. Also the hotel offers free internet. The negative points are : 1. expensive for what it offers 2. you can have breakfast in a building near the hotel 3. no elevator and the stairs difficult to climb 4. no good soundproof
