This monument was always on our visit list, but we were thrilled to go on Liberation day,5th may, and find a big gay festival and party there for the afternoon and evening. It was such a happy and friendly vibe, and quite different to the more sombre vibe when we went again the next day. The 'pink point' stand there will give lbgt information and some different souvenirs to the usual. A brilliant day, and to have celebrated with the gay community at the monument was a definite highlight.
