Our hotel overlooked this place, it was lovely something going on all the time. Chatted to people from every country. Great local art exhibition on a Sunday's . Surrounded by great bars. Worth a visit.

i went there several times, day and night. It is nice to see the statue of Rembrandt and a 3-Dimensional of the famous NachtWacht made in bronze. The area is surrounded by Restaurants and cafe's where you can enjoy a nice meal or a glass of beer/wine. People take their food and sit in the square facing the statues to enjoy their meal where some might be playing music on the streets and in the square.

Easily accessed by tram, get off at the flower market and it's a short walk. There were many artists painting and an art exhibition where you could also buy paintings - not sure if that's on every day though.

Nice plaza honoring the painter, Rembrandt with a bronze recreation of his Night Watch. Very accessible on the tram with it's own stop.
