dirty room, vomitful smell, disastrous bed and pillow, the door banged constantly and then I want to share what I saw from my window. judge you I understand that the hotel is under renovation but the customers with should live this situation.

Room Tip: the place is under renovation I hope better in the future! 2019

I am a frequent international traveler and was so disappointed in this hotel. I booked a vacation package through a travel agent, and this was the hotel we got. First, when we arrived, we could barely find the entrance. The entire hotel is under construction...and I mean entire hotel! There were construction men outside our door at 6 AM in the morning on ladders doing work. Needless to say, you weren't sleeping past six. Next, our room did not have air conditioning, so we had to pay extra for the amenity just to be comfortable. When returning to the hotel at night, there were numerous times seedy characters were outside the entrance harrassing us as we entered. When we reported this to the staff, they said there was nothing they could do about it because they were on the sidewalk. Also, the route to and from the tram line was a little scary. There were a lot of empty buildings in the area with nowhere to get help if you needed it. So... sometimes it's worth paying a little more to feel safe, especially for two single ladies.

On the plus side, the front desk staff was extremely helpful with giving information on transportation and provided a smile when we desperately needed it. We were grateful for that smile!

Stayed here for two nights. On the plus side, it’s affordable, clean rooms, comfy beds, free wifi and close to transport. It was quiet and had friendly service.

On the negative side, no air conditioning, and the outside looks like a war zone because of construction. I give credit to them for putting effort into improving the hotel, but it looks awful at the moment.

The hotel is only a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport and a 30 minute tram ride from central station. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The beds were huge and so comfortable, brilliant shower, fan and a fridge. Beers and wine were cheap enough, alcopops were a bit expensive. We had no issues with builders or the renovations. A nice quiet hotel to come back to at the end of a long day exploring the city to relax, have a quiet drink and sleep.

Lets start with the good. The staff were polite. The reception area was very nice. There was a seating area outside reception, a great place to meet in a morning and chill in an evening. The shower was top notch. Our room had air con, though others we traveled with only had a fan. The rooms were clean and tidy.
The not so good. The beds were narrow, not a lot of room at all. The hotel is still under renovation, however this didn't really make a difference to the room itself, just the general look of the hotel. During weekdays the builders start pretty early, not a problem on weekends though. The location is a little far out, however its a five minute walk to a number 2 tram that goes to the central station.
Overall the hotel isn't bad, and it doesn't deserve all the terrible reviews it's getting, of the 7 of us that stayed we all agreed on that.
