Even though we had an I Amsterdam travel card it was a great experience to walk over all the bridges and see the boats, I must admit some were more like sheds and caravans but the Dutch barges were incredible to see. On foot you can see and experience much more than by sitting in a car or tram, you soon come to see the idiosyncrasies of the locals and that every day is dustbin day, and bikes are left everywhere, but all that don’t take the shine off a beautiful city.
