The food was absolutely incredible and the service was unparalleled. We even got a high-five on the way out. A must try if you're in Amsterdam!

Possibly the best Paneer butter masala (Paneer makhani) I've had outside India. I'm from India, and I know a good paneer makhani. And this place makes great paneer makhani. It wasn't even on the menu, but I asked and they made it for me. Everything tasted great.
If I had a layover for a couple of hours in Amsterdam and could do only 1 thing in the city, I'd eat here.

From the outside it doesn't lok that great. Once incide you are warmley greeted and get an excellent meal, not very cheap but affordable, god value for money. We tried both shrimps and chicken complemented wit garlic naan and Cobra, a really nice meal!!!

The food was absolutely brilliant. Neatly cooked, nice and spicy, great flavors. Not the place to go if you're short on cash, but definitely a good Indian restaurant. While the service level of the staff was not very remarkable, but I'd still go again for a good Indian meal in Amsterdam.

Just back from a lovely trip to Amsterdam. Visited this restaurant which was quite near our hotel. On arrival, you are greeted by a very friendly lady (sorry we didn't get her name- so lovely). We were seated and given ample time to review the menu, our drinks were served while we made our choices. We had a mixed platter to start, which was delicious. We had four different lamb and chicken dishes for mains. Could not fault any of the dishes, they were all very flavoursome and so tasty. We were offered more rice on a few occasions by the two waiters, who were just as friendly as the lady who welcomed us. Nothing was a problem for them and there was no hush put on you to free up the table. When we appeared to be the last in the restaurant, we asked what time they closed, and were told not to worry, there was no problem! We were then offered a free glass of wine each. This restaurant is very well located, just behind the Heineken Experience. If you are staying in the Pijp area, it is within a few minutes walking distance. It is also on the 16 and 24 tram line from Dam Square, again on the tram you are talking about 5-6 minutes. It is in a small square with other restaurants, and a couple of bars. As if the excellent food, service and atmosphere of the restaurant wasn't enough, one final thing also impressed us. A gentleman who seemed to be down on his luck appeared at the door of the restaurant and gave a nod to one of the waiters. Within a few minutes, the waiter appeared outside with a bag of food for this man. It was clear that this was a regular arrangement. How lovely is it to see a business showing compassionate to someone less fortunate. So all round, we would absolutely recommend this restaurant,
