This is currently my favourite place where we go at least once a week (perhaps tonight as well?). So I was even a little reluctant to write a review, as the place is small and sometimes it is already hard to find a place on busy days. And you cannot reserve.
Anyway, the bottom line: their pizza is really great! To tell the truth, I am not even a big fan of pizza. Outside Italy I was finding pizza usually frustrating, and in Italy, there are always too many other tempting things. But pizza here is just the way it should be, I think. Especially if you like pizzas with thin crust. And there is not much of an alternative for a pizza in this place (though their spinach ravioli/tortellini were pretty good as well). My favourite one is their special, Il Sogno pizza. But, I think, I (and my wife, and my kid) liked (too a larger or less degree) all 4-5 kinds I tried there.
I also like the atmosphere -- it is extremely informal, you can read books they sell, browse their shop, etc and have great food at the same time! From outside it does not look like much, you might not even realise that you can have food there. But try! However, if you like only formal restaurants, that's certainly not for you.
I can also recommend their house wine, often in Amsterdam ordering house wine is not a very good idea, as you get some undrinkable mess. Here, it is quite a decent wine, both red and white. And at a right price (since I do not even remember the price).
I have only one a very minor complain, but this is about the shop rather than the restaurant: the choice of red wines for sale is a bit narrow, and I was not too excited about them.White and rosé were fine. And the reds are not bad, they are fine everyday wines (see the comment about house wine) but just a little boring. But this might be subjective though.
And, oh, yes -- almost forgot. Their cannolis and tiramisu (I suspect both are home-made) are pretty good too! If you can manage them after a pizza.
I think during the days they are open for snacks (panini?) but never tried these here.
