I would recommend this hotel, because it's good value for the price. The room was clean, and the location is convenient. Anne Frank house is very close, which helps you avoid lines by going really early or really late. I also recommend visiting Westertoren, right beside the Anne Frank house, for a great view of Amsterdam. The main sights of Amsterdam are a reasonably short walk away, and you get to walk along the beautiful canals.
As for the hotel, the room key also unlocks the front door, so you can come and go as you want. It's also possible to leave your suitcases there after check-out, as I did.
A few minor issues I had were that the wifi was not great (I had to sit in a chair right beside the door), the breakfast is not buffet-style (but you are served basically the same bread, cheese and meat that you can get in other European hotels). Also, the shower doesn't have a door and you need to wipe the floor with a squeegee, and the room was very dark (the few small lightbulbs weren't enough). In any case, I didn't spend much time in my hotel room, so this was overall an inexpensive, great place to spend nights, with a breakfast to power up the next morning. I would definitely return and recommend to others.
