I can't recall the name of our room but it was in a corner, on (I think) the second floor. There is a photo of it posted by a previous reviewer (the one that did "Best 400 year old hotel ever"). It was a nice room, although the floor was noticeably slanted. Had a lot of windows overlooking Singelgracht, so that was nice. Windows aren't soundproof and we had trouble sleeping on a Saturday night due to noise (and our jet lag). It is very convenient to A'dam. We were closer than we thought to the Anne Frank house. Took a bus to Van Gogh museum for that exhibit as well as Rembrandt and Caravaggio. I recommend this. Also did Heinekin experience, emjoyed it. Ate at Restaurant De Rigeur near Anne Frank house. Very good. Very enjoyable stay at Brouwer *breakfast was standard that we had all over Europe - pastries and jam and coffee or tea and hard boiled egg). Didn't have too much interaction with the staff but they were friendly. Would stay there again and recommend. Easy walk to train station. Was very easy to make reservations and reconfirm via email.
