Hotel Weber is an excellent choice if you are like me and you do not need a lobby and lots of staff all over the place. It is like you have your own sweet little studio apt in one of the most convenient locations in Amsterdam. Easy tram access, tons of restaurants and bars just around the corner plus plenty of shopping. Now to the room: modern, clean and large. This is a combination that is very difficult to locate in a hotel room that is city centre especially in Europe. As a bonus everyday you receive a basket of breads to go with yogurt, juice, deli cheeses and meats (that are in your mini fridge), an electric kettle and a fabulous nespresso machine to start your day off right. The check in was easy, internet worked every day, room was cleaned every day and the shower water was hot every day. The only thing to keep in mind is there is no elevator and the steps are very steep. I highly recommend a stay at Weber.

Overall a fantastic little hotel in the centre of Amsterdam. Our room was big, clean and had a great en suite. The bed was enormous and super comfy.

The breakfast is delivered to your room every morning allowing you to have breakfast in bed. The in-room espresso machine was an added bonus as well!

At night there was a little noise from the bar underneath the hotel, however it certainly wasn't loud enough to disturb sleep, plus the hotel provide ear plugs in the room which is another nice touch.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

My partner and I stayed recently at Hotel Weber in room number 4 (which is situated at the front of the hotel). We had a great view from our terrace and the room itself was really really nice. It was stylish, arty and pleasantly roomy. We were close to most amenities. The breakfasts in the room are a delight and are replenished with fresh goodies every day. I would most definitely go back to this hotel as it is very good value for money.

This was an amazing hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The decor was great—lots of black and artsy photos—and the rooms spacious. My room was on the 3rd floor and faced the street which made for great views; it gets a little noisy especially because there's 3 bars downstairs but it's not horrible and they do give you ear plugs just in case you'll need them. The bed is giant and comfy. What I really liked was the mini bar which they restock daily (e.g. milk, OJ, yogurt, cold cuts, sausages, cheese, spreads) for breakfast the next day. They also give you cereal, stroopwafel treats, a tea kettle, and a coffee maker. The daily bread basket—sliced bread, rolls and croissants—was a really great touch as well.

Also, the area is really lively so you have tons of great restaurant options nearby (I highly recommend Blauwe Hollander) and the Albert Heijn grocery store is just a 10-minute walk away if you'd rather get some inexpensive pre-made salads and sandwiches. It's a picturesque walk through Jordaan to get to the Anne Frank House. If you're coming from the airport, you can take the 35-minute bus ride (#197 to Leidseplein) which drops you off a 2-minute walk from the hotel. If you're going to the train station, it's a 2-minute walk to the bus stop where you can grab the #170 or #172 bus that takes you there in 3 stops.

The only negative was the steep staircase. It wasn't the height that got me; it was how insanely small the steps were. Luckily I just had a backpack but I opened the door for a guest who just arrived with a giant suitcase and saw her eyes widen when she realized she'd have to hoof that thing up all those steps.

Room Tip: We had room #6 and loved the street view, but it does get a little noisy. Also, you have to go up 3...

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Webber for 4 nights last week and absoultely loved it. We had a cosy room on the top floor with no noise and a pretty view. The staff were all friendly; including the wonderful bar staff downstairs that gave us plenty of local knowledge. Breakfast in the morning is delicious, the room is spotless and the bed was very comfy. We are planning coming back to Amsterdam in the summer since we loved it so much and would 100% stay here again. Perfect location, relaxed atmosphere and the super steep stairs give it such character.

Room Tip: High floor was great but only if you don't mind climbing the stairs.
