The hotel itself is very nice. Exlnt beds bath and decor. Self laundry across the ped path. Taxi
Can not bring you to the door but close. Ten minutes walk to tran station and the Tourist information.
Very busy this week because of concert and carnival at at Dam Square. We would have extended but hotel was booked full.

The hotel is walking distance from Central station (10 minutes maybe), walking distance to many daytime sites, and is pretty much on the edge to middle of the tourist nighttime scene. Despite the latter, the hotel was quiet and a lot of the people staying there seemed to be more of the day time rather than night time tourists. I was passing through on a business trip and needed a place in the city to overnight and kill a few hours in the morning.

For a small hotel in a downtown city in continental Europe, I was impressed with the room and price for the location. The rooms were relatively new, clean, well maintained, and everything worked - but obviously not the largest.

This would not be the place for a romantic weekend away in Amsterdam or a week in the city for business meetings but it would suit pretty much everything else.

We stayed for 3 nights last week in a standard double room and really enjoyed our stay at the Luxer. This was our 2nd visit to Amsterdam so we knew we wanted a very central location to Centraal station and lots of restaurants and this ticked all the boxes. It's only a 5 minute walk from the train station and as it's at the end of Warmoestraat it's easy to get to/from other areas without walking the length of the street (the smell of cannabis is quite strong down the street so it's nice not having to walk through it if you don't want to).

Our room was great, small but a good size for a city centre hotel (very similar to a Premier Inn room if you're from the UK). Bed very comfy and little to no noise from the street outside. We never had breakfast here so can't comment, but the bar is reasonably priced and the receptionist/barman was really nice as well.

The communication from the Hotel is great as well, we're looking at going back and I emailed Hotel Luxer to check availability/prices and they responded within 5 minutes! Can't wait to visit again!

I was so impressed by our room and en suite - so modern and comfortable.
We only stayed for the weekend and didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, but were very happy whilst here.
The only downside was that the receptionist wasn't the most welcoming of people, and we felt slightly looked down on when speaking to him.

We booked 4 person and 2 person rooms. Good enough for budget stay. The hotel is very near to the central station which convenient for travelling to most of the tourist spot. Staff are friendly and wiling to assist us during our stay. The only poorly manage is the concierge service. If you have any valuable in your luggage, please keep it with you. The hotel management does not has the policy to check the number given with the luggage tag.
