Is this the number 1 Bed & Breakfast in Amsterdam? I don't know. I did not stay in any others. I stayed at Le Quartier and was perfectly happy. It was a delight to be in the middle of everything just a step away from Vondel Park and then turn a corner into a residential neighborhood and leave all the bikes behind! Despite the quite street Le Quartier is just a moment from resteraunts, museums, canals, buses and trams. I won't repeat the delightful things everyone else has said. I will only point out two things you should be aware of before you book. Le Quartier has only two rooms so you need to book early. And, those two rooms are up a steep twist of stairs. So if you are unable to navigate such a staircase I regret to inform you that you should choose whomever is the number two Bed & Breakfast.
