We chose this hotel over the NH Zuid (where we have stayed) because of its great reviews. Here are the realities: we had a Tiny cramped room. We could hear all the neighbors. There is no free parking (except on the weekend), which results in a long queue Monday morning to pay for parking at a machine, breakfast is like in America- we had to clear and clean a table to find a place to eat, and on the first day couldn’t find a place to eat at all. No knives, forks or plates left - I spread my butter and ham with a spoon- and no staff in sight. Tables piled with dirty dishes when people left. Crowded and so-so food selection. Carpet was never cleaned during our stay in public areas- crumbs and debris everywhere- especially on the stairs. Very tight space for the check in and bar which are one and the same. On the other hand the NH Zuid nearby has free parking, spacious rooms, an amazing breakfast, ample choices for snacks or dinner (unlike This hotel), a great bar, and excellent service. NH is a much better hotel so the reviews are a mystery to me.
