After a walk at the beautiful Rijksmuseum, there is nothing better than somewhere to rest, eat some good food while drinking a Heineken, right? A nice and confortable restaurant? It would be even better if the place is at the sidewalk of a canal, isn´t it? And if it's prices are reasonable?
I know that seems cheap propaganda, but it is true. In de Buurt can provide you all that. You can still count with a good service, nice desserts, good entry options.
We had a white wine and a Heineken. As entry, a leak soup with shrimps. As main dishes, the fish of the day - tilapia with vegetables and a chicken with peanut butter sauce. All that with a sundown view near the canal. Awesome!
Just watch for the menu: it was not saying anything about the peanut butter! Better ask the waiter before making the order to avoid unpleasent surprises.
