I like to find new restaurant and this and Jaspers was a very nice surprise.

The menu' is modern version of classic French flavours, with a balanced wine taste and good options.

But it's not the food or the wine, although delicious, it was the general atmosphere of the place, the dinner was relaxing but with a perfect pace, the timing for the food, the wine, the small chats with the sommelier or the cooks, the open kitchen, this is not something you can improvise, this is good care of your guests for an adventure which is not only limited to eat good food but to have a pleasant experience in every aspect.

I will go back for sure!

Booked a restaurant during the "restaurant week". Have some mixed experiences with restaurants during this week because they sometimes do some concessions with their menu. Not at Jaspers! This was excellent. Their wine tasting was well balanced and their dishes of goose pate, steamed oisters, braised meat etc... all those dishes were excellent. The staff was friendly, well organised and the chef is visiting the tables to stay in contact with the customers. We will certainly return!

My boyfriend and I recently dined at Jaspers. What a lovely experience! The food was excellent - inventive and nicely prepared - and the service was very personalized and professional. We had to leave the restaurant at a specific time in order to attend a performance; they did a great job at appropriately pacing the meal and getting us out the door on time. Our server also suggested some very nice, reasonably-priced, and unusual wine-pairings with each dish. Be certain to take their suggestions! We look forward to our next visit.

Based on a recommendation from one of my friends we booked a table at Jaspers on Friday evening.

We were seated close to the open kitchen which gave us a nice overview of how they made up the plates. Décor is modern, minimalistic and nice.

Jaspers serves a standard menu, you can only choose if you would like 3,4,5,6 or 7 courses. The menu shows an overview of the courses and you can decide which extra’s you would like to have. We had the 4-course dinner that night.

Upon ordering the wine they served us a lovely bread basket to nibble on. Plates were served with enough time in between to relax and enjoy dinner. All the food was really good, they serve really interesting culinary food. Maybe sometimes the plates were a bit crowded with a sauce of this, a foam of that and a tad of something else. A little bit more pure is never bad, but I have to say, it all tasted really nice.

Service was attentive spiked with some Amsterdam humor and Dutch directness.

Definitely recommended! Get the table next to the kitchen so you can look into the kitchen and enjoy the work of the chefs.
