This restaurant is gem, we discovered. We had a very fine dinner, for a fine price. We were satisfied with every dish. A 3 course meal costs (Jan 2013) 35 euro, house wine (very good) is 19 euro. Amsterdam is not known for good service in restaurants, but this one is a real exception: a modest waitress who kept her distance, but was miraculously at our table the moment you thought you needed her. And she knew what was on the menu. Very professional! And finally a restaurant with good acoustics; music was playing softly and we could easily communicate; no need at all to raise voices. The restaurant is at the edge of the “Pijp” neighbourhood, about 5 minutes walk from the famous Albert Cuyp market. Trams 12 or 25 stop at 1 minute walking distance. We will come back here for sure.
