We spent 2 nights at the hotel and had a delightful stay. We were in a tiny room (105) that overlooked the road. However the sound proofing was brilliant, the design was inspiring and the lobby/lounge worked well and we enjoyed the food and drink. We could not get into the dining area for dinner on the Friday as it was full. We mentioned it to the hotel, and they explained that only in the last 6-8 weeks has the brasserie really taken off - so if you want to eat there book ahead! We will certainly return.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel V Nesplein, and it is lovely to hear that you had a nice stay. However, we are sorry that we couldn't fit you in for dinner on the Friday. Most restaurants are hard to get into last minute in Amsterdam, and The Lobby is no exception!
Hope to see you back again soon! Let us know next time ahead and we will get you the best seat in the house for dinner!

The Hotel V Nesplein is a beautiful, comfortable hotel, in a perfect position to wander around Joordan and the old town of Amsterdam and also close to some bars and resturants. The staff are friendly and helpful and the beds are fantastically comfortable. Breakfast in the Hotel was great and, again, the service was friendly and helpful. This was my first visit to Amsterdam and I loved it. The Hotel made an enjoyable stay even better, thanks!

My daughter and I stayed here for a mini-vacation before I had other work meetings in Amsterdam. The location was fantastic and staff very helpful. The room was spacious. For work meetings, I moved to another hotel and there was a big difference - very small room at the other hotel, not nearly as clean. I highly recommend the Hotel V.

Stayed in Amsterdam 2 days before departing from Rotterdam on a cruise. V Nesplein is the perfect central location, near Dam Square and major attractions. Excellent restaurant and service at breakfast, lunch and evening dinner. Front desk staff is friendly, extra caring and most accomodating. We loved the place and we loved Amsderdam. We will be back for both...

We stayed here from 8 to 12 September 2013 as part of a long European trip. This was one of the best hotels we stayed in and we can not fault it. The room was perfect. It was very spacious and quiet. The hotel is perfectly located and it is easy to walk to most locations in and around the city. As a plus, the hotel has an attached restaurant that is, in our opinion, as good as a Michelin-starred restaurant. Lastly, the staff are very helpful and accommodating. We can strongly recommend this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel V Nesplein! We are so happy to hear that you had a good stay and completely flattered that you would rank our restaurant The Lobby up with the Michelen stars! (If I tell that to the restaurant team they are going to get SUCH big egos!)
Hope to see you again one day soon!

From our warm welcome from Wendy at the reception desk to our last coffee at breakfast, our stay at the Nesplein V was perfect. The decor is a trendy and fun mix of modern/steampunk chic with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Bathrooms have black fixtures with huge rainhead showers and steamy hot water. The location next to Dam Square is ideal and the fact that the hotel is a block off of the main street insures a quiet nights rest. The hotel restaurant, The Lobby, serves delicious food with attentive service. Breakfasts were a pleasant surprise with many choices and ala carte options. The Eggs Benedict and French Toast were wonderful! We hope to return to lovely Amsterdam and the Nesplein V soon!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay at Hotel V Nesplein! You know, I have never heard it desribed as "steampunk" but in fact that makes a lot of sense!
So happy to hear that you had a good stay with us, and Wendy will be pleased that you remembered her name! :)
See you again one day soon!
