Beautiful quiet hotel situated in a great central location 3018 was a perfect room . Staff very friendly and helpful it was out anniversary and they gave us chocolate strawberries and red wine in our room , every thing is catered for which was appreciated although one thing make sure you put the door sign on when in as they knock to see if you need anything quite a lot but annoying if your having a nap , but I'm nitpicking here ! As really was a brilliant hotel, the food and drink was amazing , there isn't much in the way of good restaurants around here but the hotels is excellent for dinner . And don't forget to forget the bikes ! Get a tram ticket for a few days or day it saves your legs and you won't frighten everybody else ! Those bikes are scary !!!!

2 night stay in Jul 2014. Check-in rather slow, room small but OK, if a bit soulless but that's a matter of taste. Peekabo (making bathroom window go from clear to frosted) broken, hotel staff acknowledged but no attempt to repair or offer other room. Window could be opened, but only by improvising and putting something under it to remain open (it was a very (!) heavy wooden window to be pushed up for opening). The pool is adequate, but doesn't match the rest of the stylish interior. If the room is soulless, the pool area is very much so and not a comfortable area for hanging around in for too long.

Dirty cups were not cleaned by turndown service in evening and also ignored the next morning. We spilled some coffee on bed though, and the covers were changed, which was appreciated.

Coffee machine in room, free bags of crisps and nuts a nice touch.

Street can be noisy at night, in our case we didn't mind the tram too much, but much more the free entertainment by some drunken revellers in middle of night.

Cocktail bar is stylish, and cocktails good.

Staff generally far more attentive than in other hotels, you can really tell that they have been told to try and go the extra mile.

Check-out was lengthy, mainly due to staff preferring to discuss issues with my booking with their supervisor rather than waiting for me to explain it - after I finally got the chance everything was sorted reasonably quickly. Didn't feel nice to be accused of a mistake where there was none.

I can see how some people might enjoy the hotel, for me it wasn't the right choice with its fairly high price level. No idea what Club Carlson benefits this hotel provides by the way, I don't think I had any.

Room Tip: away from street if you mind noise.

Well located new hotel with great service and impeccable rooms.

Breakfast was a feast to die for.

Excellent location particularly for a fast getaway!

Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk - really made us feel welcome and special.

Highly recommended - though not cheap!

Room Tip: Room 1012 excellent - although facing over road noise was minimal - rooms like 2014 are internal (wi...

If you wish to be in the centre of the city you can not go wrong to book your rooms here. No car parking, but the car will be parked for you by the concierge who is really helpful. This hotel is young, bright and really encompasses the atmosphere of the place. In particular during our stay in June and July we enjoyed the help from everyone at reception and during breakfast in selecting where to go what to see and where to eat. Trendy bar and lots of interesting large books to look at. Nice rooms, which for a city were quiet if you have a room at the top level or without a view. Take the rooms facing the station if possible for early morning sunshine - top floor.
Breakfast is included during the times we stayed and the choice and quality was fine. Prepared and served by very nice young people from Sardinia Italy.

Well done and see you again Mike!

Room Tip: Top level facing station sunny in morning. Inside rooms very quiet. Something for everybody I would...

Art'otel is perfect situation just close to the central station and in the center of the city. I have never experienced a staff that are so serviceminded as on Art'otel. The breakfast is great and so are the rooms and the spa area. It is definitely a hotel I will come back to.

Spend 3 days at this hotel, very pleased with everything, the staff was very courteous and service minded, breakfast fantastic, room very elegant and high tech.
Good location, close to everything, the only slight annoyance, tram noise from the street disturbed night sleep a little.
