This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Amsterdam, the ranking in tripadvisor is completely misleading. Price/quality is great. They have fantastic antipasti's, good wine (please try the montepulciano) and great main courses. The waiters are taking there time but bring you in a true Itlian mood (Claudio, Frederico and Nicola do a great job and do everything for the client). For tourists: you always try to find the best place in a town where the locals go.. You found it. This restaurant had a great review from one of the local evaluators. If I should add one last point: Please take a reservation (to be sure) and take your time because it might take a bit of time between the starter and main course.. But that's really all..

I can't believe this place is currently only ranked 1,431 out of 1,560 restaurants in Amsterdam. Possibly because there's only one other review. This is a good neighbourhood Italian restaurant with friendly and attentive staff and very good food. My dining partner started with octopus carpaccio followed by pasta with sausage and mushrooms. I didn't have a starter but had lamb chops for the main course. These came cooked medium as requested on a bed of mixed salad and finely julienned vegetables. They were very tender and tasty, but if they hadn't been there was also a pesto-like sauce on the plate. What wasn't on the menu but arrived with the lamb was a bowl of beautifully roasted miniature new potatoes flavoured with rosemary and sea salt. My partner really enjoyed his food, particularly the octopus carpaccio starter.

We didn't have room for dessert but eyed up the delicious looking strawberry tart which our neighbours clearly enjoyed as they cleaned the plate in about 2 minutes.

All in all a good neighbourhood restaurant and well worth a visit, right next to the tram stop for the number 12

Exquisit food, very tasty. But between two courses took 1,5 hour! Too long in my opinion. Meantime the waiters didn't serve us drinks nor bread / olives.
