Yep! Friendly people who speak different languages. The room is tiny but very functional. You have exactly what you need and the design is ok. Outside you dive directly in the city. The breakfast was included in my booking and it is very complete.

Since we arrived late in Amsterdam, I picked this hotel for the last stop of our honeymoon trip. We arrived the reception at 11p.m., all we wanted was to get our room keys as we still haven't had dinner. However, there was a guest chatting with the receptionist and kinda asking her out.
That was annoying!!!!!

Our room was located on the basement floor, luckily we still got "fresh air" with the small window facing the light well.

I thought it would be a quiet place as it is not in red light district, but there is coffeeshop right next to the hotel and many drunk people around (maybe that's normal in Amsterdam)

The room is small, the bathroom is comparably big. But there is not even reasonable space to place our toiletaries. We have to move a chair from the room to place them. It's so inconvenient.

With the price that we paid, it's absolutely not value for money. I think we can find a hotel way better to end our honeymoon trip.

Decided to stay here earlier this year after initially booking somewhere else then realising it had consistently horrendous reviews on TripAdvisor so we cancelled that booking and booked here for 2 nights instead whilst attending a music festival. The location is perfect, smack bang in the middle of Amsterdam directly opposite Central Station.

We arrived quite early so the check in desk let us leave our bags there and return later on. Upon returning we were promptly checked in and took the lift up to our room. The room wasn't massive but it was big enough for 2 people easily. There was a very comfortable double bed and it was modern throughout. I can't really fault it to be honest, there was TV if you wanted to watch it, air con, WIFI, a spacious bathroom, extra pillows and extra seating in the room. Don't know what else you could want to be honest, it ticked all the boxes for us and we would definitely return!

We have stayed here twice. Good value, rooms are small, but we aren't in them but to sleep. Breakfast is excellent. Location is convenient and we love the bar next door. Staff is helpful and friendly.

A very cozy hotel, close to the Central Station (~ 5 min) and close to the market. The staff was very polite and friendly. Complimentary bottled water was served. The breakfast was not very rich as concerns variety but it was ok! The room was too small but cozy. No problem with internet access and the wifi.

I stayed here for a couple of nights on business and it was useful to be close to the station, bus and tram lines. I had a room that looked out over the railway lines and station and had a great night-time view. Rooms bog-standard Ibis, OK for the price but nothing special - but nothing special expected.

Big plus to find free Wi-Fi in rooms as well as public areas, about time all hotels offered this now.
Loved the breakfast virtually on a station platform.

Only one negative point and it was quite a painful one, was the horrible little threshold sticking up between bedroom and bathroom for an unwary guest to trip over or stub their toe on. I did both before I thought to cover it with a towel

Check-in was OK, check-out very slow and almost missed train back to the airport.

As someone else noted, there are no tea or coffee making facilities - why don't all hotels provide something.

Was staying for 1 night only booked by online. Was having challenge with the booking and called to hotel but they cant help and was impolite when explained to me. I suggest to talk nicely and put the guest first and listen what the guest need instead of talking what the hotel want. Check in just standard no explanation in detail about free wifi or breakfast time etc. Service in the restaurant also not so good. Check out was ok. In location wise they are close to city centre and central station. Room was small and bathroom also. Staffs not so friendly. No smile and no greeting to the guests.
