“Refined food in relaxed resto”
Reviewed 23 March 2014

Although there was no specific intention to do so, we ended up choosing four vegetarian starters -- and they were truly delicious, offering tastes we had not sampled before. The main courses, lamb and aubergine, were good too, but next time I would order a range of starters only, as these are the real attractions of the menu. Together with the generous portions of bread, these make for a full meal. Mind you, the sweet desserts are calorific but tempting.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the ambiance simple but enhanced by several impressive tiled panels on the walls and coloured lamps just the right side of kitsch.

Service was personal and friendly; perhaps a tiny bit too relaxed sometimes.

Definitely great value for money, and a place worth returning to.

“Absolute gem of a place”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

Just around the corner from our hotel (NH Museum Quarter), this was a real find. It's obviously popular with the locals which is nice to see; it's definitely not a tourist trap. It's a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful tiles on the wall and really gorgeous colourful lights.
Lovely food, beautifully prepared. We even got served a couple of dishes that we hadn't ordered... and weren't charged for. We had a chicken platter and a kebab wrapped in a thin bread - that's a poor description for two lovely meals.
You can see the food being prepared at the back of the restaurant. Orders and serving done by one really friendly man who somehow manages to keep everything running smoothly. We would go back.

“Amazing food”
Reviewed 1 December 2013

I visited this restaurant last month with my family and had a lovely chilled out evening. We started with their Greek salad which was made to perfection. The cheese was fresh and they are very generous with the free bread which kept turning up on the table. We also had stuffed mushrooms which were delicious. This place has an open kitchen so as you soon as you order you can see the chef getting busy. For our main course we had chicken on a platter. This was made with a light and vegetables. The main dish is served with lots of complimentary salad. Again a plus point for mediterrean food lovers. Oh and i must mention the heavenly houmous which tastes lovely with the crusty bread. We ate the chicken with another portion of stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. This was served with risotto rice. I highly recommend this place, the food is fresh and tasty and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

“Good place to eat off tourist trails”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 via mobile

I have dropped in just by chance and didn't regret it. I came before the restaurant was open, but the owner kindly agreed to feed me.
I had hummus and stuffed grilled calamari - both we're way better than expected. Hummus was accompanied with very good and flavorful olive oil and nice bread. As for calamari - stuffed with walnuts they were simply delicious!
Prices are reasonable, probably because the place is off tourists paths. Worth coming if you want some quality Mediterranean food in nice ambience (love their mosaic lamps!) and don't want to spend too much.
