A good tip for traditional food in a sit down restaurant in what can be a very expensive city when it comes to eating. Not full of tourists who do not know the value of money. Certainly no 20-somethings from the world of international finance. No airs and graces. Wood paneled walls. Wood floor. Long bar. Friendly personnel. Some locals. Some visitors. I had a decent steak, salad, fries, glass of red wine and a cup of coffee for less than €20 and that included a tip. Really nice location in one of the cross streets between Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht.
