Staff who’s very helpful won’t help put aside the fact that this is a semi clean, semi well run place that caters to the “has to be there” business traveler. In our experience, first sanitary facilities didn’t work and smelled of piss, after complaining only the latter and by now none of it. Still, could be worse (or better...)

Quick review of this place - seems nice in the lobby and public areas, with modern and artsy designs. But my room was unfortunately a little bit grimy and had a general feeling of uncleanliness to it. The shower fan made an odd electrical whirring noise every now and again that I couldn’t make stop. The shower guard leaked. I found a long, black, stray hair in my bed sheets and dust and bits of god knows what were present on the duvet. Lastly, there was a lipstick kiss stain on the bottom of the curtain - why, I don’t know and I’m not sure I want to find out...! I was staying whilst on a business trip so I wasn’t exactly happy with this after a long, busy day.

10 to 15 people queuing in front of the coffee machine for breakfast, and this was every day, difficult to find a table which is clean, a long queue in front of the elevator... when I mentioned this at the reception, there was no excuse, “you happened to be there when there was a very large group”, but this was the same every day for 5 days. Hotel probably more a 3* than a 4*. When it is nice weather, it is pleasant to have dinner outside next to the water area and is quiet. Menu and food are standard for a hotel, it is just easy if you do not want to move as there are no restaurants next to the hotel. Breakfast is good (except the service and the queue at the coffee machine) but every day exactly the same. Room cleaning is not thorough. There is not so much design to this hotel, it is rather a standard hotel for buses of foreign tourists and business people.

This hotel is great. The interior is lovely, however our room was a little shabby for what we payed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean. The hotel is a little away from the centre but is easily accessible. The tram stop is a short, lovely, 5 minute walk away from the tram stop. You can then get a 20 minute tram journey into the centre - trams are very easy to work out and handy once you get the hang. The staff were fairly pleasant however were not overly nice. Did the minimum and not much more.

Pros:
* Sleek and modern facility
* Linens and drapes were new and attractive
* Friendly and helpful staff
* Quiet location
* Nice restaurant on-site
* Our pre-paid package included a marvelous breakfast buffet each day. I don’t think this is part of the standard room fee, but would be worth paying extra for. (Omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, gravy, extensive offering of pasteries and breads, and juice)

Cons:
* Located quite a ways from the city center. We walked about 8 minutes to a tram and rode for 20 minutes to get to the city center each day
* Furnishings in the room were clunky wood and not comfortable
* We had to have a rental car for the first 24 hours and were charged 25 euros to park in their (mostly empty) parking garage
