We had a pleasant stay in Amsterdam at B&B Jordaan. The area is very nice and peacefull. Staying here you feel more like a resident of Jordaan than a tourist.
Charlotte was very helpful and willing to share her knowledge of anything we asked about Amsterdam and the neighbourhood.
The rooms (we stayed in two of them) were functional with good beds and bathroom., clean and modern. The breakfast was perfect for our needs.
Many good small restaurants nearby. Saturday market at Nordmarkt are also worth visiting.
We will certainly stay here again if visiting Amsterdam again.

We stayed 4 nights recently and were so pleased to have chosen Charlotte's quiet B&B over a hotel in the Leidseplein. Instead of going to sleep to the noise of trams, buses and revelers, we went to sleep to the sound of churchbells! We woke to the sounds of birds! It was so peaceful. Yet, very conveniently located -- just a short walk to the bus/tram and any number of wonderful cafes and restaurants. Ann Frank's museum is a short 5 block walk. Charlotte is attentive, available and friendly. If we return to Amsterdam, we'll be staying with you again! Thank you, Charlotte, for a lovely stay!

Charlotte at Jordaan B&B took great care of us, suggesting restaurants and tram lines, as well as telling us about life in beautiful Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam. There are restaurants nearby and a great ice cream place, too. We had a good breakfast each morning. Our room had a view of the canal on a quiet street and a chance to see how real life unfolds in this lovely city. It is just a short walk to the sights, and the tram is just around the corner. Don't miss a chance to stay in an authentic canal house with a great host family.

Although it is picturesque but to avoid disappointment. You can see the canal only if you look sideways. Other rooms have garden view.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Charlotte is a very attentive hostess, and makes herself available to answer whatever questions you may have.

We had a bright room on the first floor. The room itself was spacious enough and we were grateful that there was coffee, tea, kettle and teapot provided. The neighbourhood is quiet, clean safe and off the tourist trail of Damrak. Lots of ethnic restaurants, little shops in the area. Directions provided were excellent and as mentioned by others, Charlotte is both professional in her running of her B and B and also very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the B and B Jordaan and would highly recommend it to others. The breakfast was above average, but we can only judge by our experience in the other places we stayed, all of which were in Italy. This is in a great location, easy to get to by bus – to the station and easy walking distance to many sights. We would be happy to return here if we had the chance.

We spent three days at the B&B. Its location is ideal in Jordan to walk around all the interesting parts of Amsterdam. Many bars and restaurants close by. Charlotte is very friendly and gives great advises on things to see and do. We enjoyed her hospitality.
Breakfast was good, but repetitive.

B&B Jordaan was everything we hoped for. It was our first time going by the advice of blogs and reviews so we were a bit precautious. We were not disappointed in the least. Excellent location putting everything we wanted to do within walking and public transportation distance, the rooms (we had 2) were very clean and a bit larger than we anticipated, and the location was extremely quiet at night for a good night's sleep. Charlotte was extremely helpful with all our questions and made us feel very comfortable without being intrusive. All of us would definitely recommend this as a return visit or a place to go for any of our friends. If I had to give a negative response on something I would be pressed to come up with anything, but as a suggestion for improvement, I would put a true Queen size bed in one of the rooms and do away with the 2 twins pushed together. Charlotte is correct that IF you can do your stay in Amsterdam WITHOUT a car, you are much better off.
Thank you Charlotte and if and when we get the opportunity to return to Amsterdam we will be giving you a call.
