We booked a four night stay here and were a little worried about the location but it was so easy to get to, even as we did with three wheelie suitcases, on foot from Centraal Station. The room was clean (although I wish they put bleach down the loo), beds were comfortable and the fridge in the room was a decent size (allowing us to stash our own goodies and prepare a cold breakfast rather than having to spend extra on breakfast). There is a kettle so you can drink plenty of tea and coffee (I always take my own). I was absolutely delighted to find that it was so quiet, no banging doors, lift noises or hearing other guests coming in late at night which is such a common situation in many city centre small hotels. I didn't need ear plugs for a change! The other big plus for me was that there was plenty of lovely hot water for having showers. I have stayed in many a hotel, particularly small city centre hotels, where having a hot shower was something of a hit and miss affair. The bathroom has a pretty good hairdryer.

We never really used any of the hotel services, apart from the shuttle back to the Station at the end of our trip so I can't comment on it but checking in and out was straightforward and all the receptionists were charming and helpful.

If/when we return to Amsterdam, we will be booking this hotel again.

The best tip I can give any other tourist staying here is to get a tram/bus/metro pass because the No 26 tram stops over the road from the hotel and whizzes you straight back in front of Centraal Station where you can catch trams to all over Amsterdam. They are very frequent and a pleasure to use.

Our stay here can be summed up as satisfactory. The hotel is modern and very clean, the check in was quick and helpful. Rooms were standard big chain hotel rooms, overall nothing spectacular but you get what you pay for! Food in the bar / room service was very good. Small gripe with a 45minute wait for service at the terrace bar and leaving before we got any but did receive an apology from the hotel after making an FB comment. Great views if your up top, luckily we didnt get swayed in by the salespitch to upgrade us to the same rooms but executive (on higher floors) and still got put on 16th floor!

This is a wonderful high rise close to the water, but is really out of the way from the city center. The room was very spacious, clean, and silent, nice bed after a long day of walking up and down. Breakfast are very good, a huge variety of food, the omelet line was a bit to slow, you have to wait for 10 minutes.
The hotel have a shuttle that take you to the Central Station every 30 minutes, but you have to book it, since the van holds only 8 seats. You can always walk to the center, is about 15 to 20 minutes or bike, there's a bike rental shop very close to the hotel.

Stayed here to attend a conference at the RAI for 4 nights in May. The bookings were done via Lastminute.com and we got a good deal for the executive rooms. The location is about a 10min walk from the Centraal station but there are shuttles and trams that you can avail, though I preferred walking as the walk goes by the sea and is quite relaxing.

On arrival the check in process was smooth, and the room spotless. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms very clean and functional and there were two full length mirrors in our room which is an item I miss in most hotel rooms nowadays.

The views from the room was great as we were stationed on the 18th floor and our room was overlooking the marina, there would be a new vessel everyday outside our window.

We were offered complimentary breakfast, complimentary use of the minibar, and complimentary snacks, wine and hors'd oeuvres in the evenings so that took care of our dietary requirements during our stay. The breakfast fare is sumptuous and of good quality and in the evenings the snacks filled us up so much that we skipped dinner. The business centre offers good internet access and a good printer too.

I could not use the hotel's gym facilities so can't comment about it.

The high speed internet was included free of charge in our package and it was really really quick!

Though this was a business trip, I would stay here again with my family too as it provides everything I need for a relaxing holiday.

The city and the railway station are within walking distance, but the hotel is away from the maddenning crowds...Just book this place if you want to stay in Amsterdam and explore the city.

Great in every way.
The reception desk, the emails exchanged, the room quality and the view.
Even in the morning, when there was all the commotion and people about, getting their breakfast and such, service continued to be really good and the general building layout and equipment kept operating smoothly (i.e. very fast elevators :P )

Room Tip: No matter what room you pick, you always get a good view. Be sure to check your pillows, as mine wer...

If you want to be in the center of it all, there are closer hotels to the center. However, this one is very modern, nice accommodations and well priced. The 10 min walk to centraal station is actually very beautiful (although they have a free shuttle every 30 min or so). The breakfast was kind of expensive, but tasty enough. The staff was very helpful and nice. The views from the room are great.
Overall, I would stay again and recommend.

We spent five nights there in May-2012 after booking it as a "surprise hotel" on Easytobook.com. This hotel is very modern, conveniently located, with great views. They have a free shuttle to the Central Station which goes every half an hour, but both the station and the city center are well within walking distance (10-15 min). Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, big TV, free internet (you need to relogin every 4 hours for the free service) - well deserves four star rating! The hotel price did not include breakfast and we found it a bit expensive, so we used other places to eat. The stuff was very attentive, providing recommendations on where to go and what tours were available. There is an ATM machine and train schedule on display in the lobby - very convenient! Great overall value and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
