I was first introduced by 'Mr. V.' to Broodje Mokum two years ago. It appears to be a popular spot with a mix of Ammsterdammers and tourists.
They are open for breakfast and late lunch as well. A good assortment of fresh & tasty mmeals. I like to sit on the terrace and watch the street scene unfold. Being a coffee-hound, I appreciate the decent coffee they serve.
I hear Broodje Mokum frequently recommended to others by the locals in passing through the neighbourhood. I've seen wait-staff fromm a nearby vicinity cafe patronizing Broodje Mokum at times, so that speaks volumes. As a Canadian resident of Amsterdam, I am quite happy to recommend Broodje Mokum as well.
