This was an inexpensive hotel about 20 mins walk from Central Station but once you are at the hotel you are close to the Canal Cruise of my choice and also within short walking distance of the Museum Square.

Small, narrow room. Clean bathroom.

Adequate and a good deal for a quick overnight stay.

Free breakfast.

Second time staying at this hotel even got the same room. Hotel is still as good as it was when I was here the last time. Staff were always happy to help and really friendly. Room was clean and also the bathroom, would recommend having more towels and toilet roll for the bathroom but everything worked fine. Staying here in July its very warm at night and we had to sleep with the window open but this didn't upset our stay. Hotel is located right next to leidseplein square were there are loads of bars and restaurant, and you can get trams 1,2, and 5 to central station.

Over all I would recommend this hotel to friends.
But I think I would try out another hotel the next time I am in Amsterdam.

About 15 of us stayed here on a stag do.

The rooms were all decent and clean and comfortable.

Some of us had shared bathrooms but this wasnt too much of an issue.

The rooms were of a decent size.

All rooms in Amsterdam are quiet small but these were above average.

The hotel staff were friendly and informative.

I tried to stay here again after but it was booked up.
But i would look to stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.
It is in an excellent location just 1 minute from Leidseplein Square.

Do yourself a favour and AVOID this hotel. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I've been in some dodgy places. Imagine a hotel room WITHOUT a power point except for the one connecting the TV two third up the wall resulting in mobile phone dangling midair. The steps to the front door were confrontational ... think 75 degrees. Bed had the lumpiest mess of a mattress I've ever seen dumped on a garbage heap. Bathroom had a significant step and the floor when wet was an experience in itself. Drainage was so poor (given the minimal recess of the open shower into the floor (curtain only) that even with minimal water floor it spilled into the "bedroom". The floor mat was not replaced after day 1 (of 4) and no soap was provided (BYO - another first for any hotel). Walls were so thin I could hear the lesbian couple next door getting it on until the small hours necessitating some door knocking in order to get some sleep (at 4am). Room was on the top floor and had a skylight making it impossible to ignore daylight (and in summer dawn in Amsterdam is pretty early). No coffee/tea facilities or no room safe. Room was small even for Amsterdam but something you expect in Europe. Staff were low key. I had feeling they were embarrassed to be working there knowing what was in store for the guests. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Room Tip: Go to another hotel ... any hotel.

We do a lot of travelling and this is are most disappointing hotel yet! Paid for a upgraded larger double room, received room key opened door to find the smallest double in the world!!! Had to be in Guinness world record book. The bedroom door had been cut at an angle to pass the toilet door, they both hit the bed too,so u couldn't get out of room if stood in wrong place.found dirty wet towel in sink on arrival, broken leg on table, electrical socket with no fascia too it,window had to be propt open with the hotel sign as sash window broken n heating goin non stop,as heatin on thought would make a drink to find two cups on table but nothing to put in them?? Asked for room change straight away but with no joy, told no drinking facilities in room but can buy a coffee from reception.no place to store clothes in room just coat hanger! Four day city break, paid extra so wasn't cheap, would of sooner spent 20quid a night n slept on floor at a crowded hostel if I knew where one was, shame as Amsterdam a great place, had good time n tried not too let our so called hotel spoil it.please spend ur hard earned cash elsewhere,
