We were looking for some where to watch the Six Nations in Amsterdam. We were staying about 10 minutes from the centre and wanted to stay local. We walked into two bars that were not showing the rugby. A man at the bar said that he had a bar up the road and that he would ask them to put it on for us. He walked us up to the pub and put the TV on for us. The beer was very good and much cheaper than in centre. They brought us food on the house and we decided that we would return the next day to watch the England / Ireland game. Luckily we decided to do that because my husband lost his phone but he had left it in the Noorderster and they gave it straight back to him. The food was excellent in there. It is all freshly made. We had the Nacho's while we were watching the match and they were the the best I have had. It is right on the river and there is a riverside terrace that they open in the summer.
