“You have got to be joking!”

Where to start? The first thing you notice when you arrive is that the hotel reception is a kebab shop (alarm bells start to ring). Once you have paid up front (what a mistake) and got your key, you are then confronted with stairs which are deadly but, as you enter the room you notice the curtains are odd colours and hanging off the rails, and the walls are different colours due to patch up work. However, whilst the bed linen was clean, the duvet underneath was somewhat stained and one of the towels had stains on them (looked like they had been used already). As for the shower room, this is basic but clean and the shower itself seemed to be cold water only. There is a wardrobe in the room for hanging your clothes up, and a mini fridge which was full of mould (avoid opening). To sum up - apart from the convenient location near the centre of Amerstam and only a short walk from Centraal station, there is nothing more positive to say. This hotel is as basic as it gets, and for the price there are so many other alternatives to consider!

All I needed was a bed and a shower, and the hotel had those and there where no problems apart from the shower didn't have a curtain so it was ignoring trying to shower without one. I'd advise guest not to take a heavy suitcase as the stairs are a killer. Also the breakfast was good and the staff are really friendly and welcoming.

The staff were extremely kind and very helpful. I was a bit scared after reading the other costumer reviews but pay no mind to them if you aren't planning to stay the entire trip in the hotel, a bit dirty but nothing like what has been described, the view is fantastic on one side but lacking on the other. Just ask for a

I booked this last minute and before checking the review - I thought it didn't really matter just for one night and the location was good.
The room more than needs a lick of paint and a deep clean. The room itself was big, had 3 beds and 3 big windows, with curtains that just needed hanging properly. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was clean. The bathroom had a smell about it - needs the ventilation looking at. Some of the sockets didn't work and there was a mini bar fridge in the wardrobe - not plugged in and mouldy.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good - egg, toast, cheese, ham and jam but no other choice.
Didn't really warrant such a price.
