I really have to say that after having stayed I so many different hotels for so many years the element has become our favorite one. Is clean, great location, breakfast is so good and the staff in particularly Teeuw AWESOME.
We will be coming back for sure and it is absolutely recommended.

Room Tip: You always pay for parking here in Netherlands and the hotel gives you a great price for parking.

The Element is a very nice hotel next to a very nice shopping mall with upscale shops. The rooms are large and comfortable, with all amenities for a longer stay. there's a small kitchen, a table for two, a surprisingly comfortable sofa on which you can sleep as well. The bed is huge and also extremely comfortable. I think this was the first night ever in a hotel that I immediately slept deeply the first night. The bed didn't need any getting used to. Also the Airco is very responsive to the setting, if you set it on 18 degrees, it will be 18 degrees constantly! Even thoug the hotel was full, there was hardly any noise from outside the room. Bathroom is spacious with a lovely shower and a heated mirror so you can immediately take care of hair and make up... The only downside was that there was no English breakfast included in the free breakfast. They can provide it, but you have to pay 2.50 eur per side order. The bacon was excellent however, super crispy! Taxes add a bit to your costs, say 15 euro per night for a room with 2 people. Late checkout is 4pm!!! Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Room tip: After 7pm the parking outside the hotel is free till 9am and then free with a blue card for 1,5 hours till 10.30.

Super warm welcome at this wonderful “extended stay” hotel. Even our dog who is still young and a bit excited received a warm welcome with treats :) The hotel feels fancy, modern and very well kept, the kitchen, the larger room and the amenities gave us great flexibility to either eat there or go out to restaurants close by. I look forward to staying there again!

A couple small notes:
-There is an underground parking garage under the hotel but we were able to park on the street for free around the hotel. (from 19h to 9h). During the day there is a maximum duration of 1.5 hour but we would normally go out.
-The hotel is in a mall where you’ll find shops, supermarkets and restaurants

Really excellent accommodation and service. Clean and well furnished spaces.

Hotel is well located with convenient access to a shopping mall.

Breakfasts could use a little more variety and better coffee. Showers were great but water went out of the cabin.

Have the unfortunate experience of spending a month in this Hotel. Rooms are ok, decent space and equipped with a microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so all good.
My main issue with this place is the utterly useless housekeeping service. On a day you hang your 'do not disturb' they will come into the room anyway. On days you do not hang the 'do not disturb' they leave for the day without cleaning your room. Had my soap stolen from my bathroom with no follow up from the Hotel after I reported it. In my first room, the bathroom door (a sliding door) was jammed open when I checked in, due to quarantine requirements for COVID, the door was not fixed for 5 days. So for 5 days, my bathroom door did not close. After it was eventually fixed, within a day, it was jammed again, turns out it was the housekeeping getting it jammed every time they came to clean. I would leave for work in the morning, maintenance would fix the door soon after, housekeeping would come in and jam the door again so by the evening - still a jammed door. After 4 fixes, and asking me to be gentle with the door - they eventually moved me to a new room.
Housekeeping left a WET towel on my laptop...in the evening after a long day at work, its great to come back to your room to find a soaking towel just left on top of your personal laptop.
The breakfast...not the worst, cold boiled eggs every morning without fail, tiny paper cups for the tea and coffee. Although while in quarantine, I could not go down to breakfast so they brought it to the room...I'll try to attach a picture of one of the apples they brought me...tells you a little about the quality of service.
Despite many conversations with the front desk staff, they all promise to get something done about it - nothing ever happens. The 'manager' has been calling me for the last week, still waiting. They will however scribble your room number on a post-it and promise to leave a note on the system.

Room tip: West facing rooms have great sunset views

Very disappointing, being new and bright does not make it good.
Roof top terrace is not open and sitting outside for a drink involves sitting in a shopping center!
Bar closes at 6pm.
Breakfast is included but is minimal and only paper cups for coffee/tea, just not nice.
Hot breakfast at a cost… 2,50 per item not per breakfast! 2,50 for a spoon full of beans or powdered scrambled egg! Just ridiculous.
Checking took 20 minutes, too slow and no communication.
Given incorrect advice for the tram which meant we missed it and this meant we missed our museum time slot so we just left, a day early.
I complained but day later and still no response or deposit refunded yet!
We booked deal including dinner, this is at an external restaurant. They did their best to help us but initially only offered basic 3 courses with no option other than fish/meat.

Would not recommend

Room tip: Don’t waste your money, unless you like staying in a shopping precinct
