“Wonderful dinner on the canal”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Superb food, try the cebiche and the sopa de marisco, absolutely gourmet. The lamb was a bit more heavy but as we shared everything it was a very nice combination. Very nice and quick service. Sit outside on the canal if weather permits and see the boats slide by. We spent a great few hours enjoying.

“Nothing could be faulted”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

Had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive, the menu (in both Dutch & English) looked exciting and the ambiance was delightful, by the canal on a breezy evening watching people in boats go by, and all the food were all well presented.

The ceviche was scrumptious and packed with flavour. The slow roasted pork with a spicy dipping sauce was cooked to perfection. But the real winner at our table was the stuffed potato skin, deep fried, and stuffed with a wonderful pork and sauce filling. And these were just the entrees.

For the mains we each ordered a different item: beef, lamb and chicken dishes, and pretty much all came with a side of rice. Portions were good, flavour was amazing and we all agreed that the slow cooked rack of lamb in beer was the star of the show.

Desserts did not disappoint either, so all in all I give two thumbs up to this place and I thank my lucky stars for having the opportunity to dine here. Prices are by no means cheap at all but I feel they were relevant to the meal we had.

“Typical Peruvian”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

Having lived in South America for 17 years I have what to compare to. It did not disappoint!!! Took 3 friends, service was great and friendly. Menu was typical food and names I knew. Start with Pisco Sour, to die for. Ceviche was superb, highly recommended light and fresh. Conchitas a la Parmesana (scallops) and "Tiradito de ají amarillo" were a great combination of entrees to share. All had different mains and none could be faulted. Do leave space for some typical dessert. Portions are great size to allow you to manage the three courses. Don't skimp out, really enjoy all the flavours. Colleagues said they would return before leaving. Three course, pre dinner drinks and bottle of wine was 60 Euros per head, well worth it. Not the cheapest Peruvian I have had but Europe is never cheap. Enjoy.
Highly recommended

“Brilliant Restaurant”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Went on Saturday 20th April at 7.30 pm and had a wonderful meal. The waiter was very attentive although the restaurant was full. Food was fabulous and we could not fault it. Please do not read the negative comments - if we had read the negative comments before we left the UK we would have never visited this restaurant and that we would be crying shame. This restaurant is amazing.
