It was a Saturday evening and we had reserved for 7:15 PM with a baby chair. They confirmed this by phone. We had bought a 3 course dinner on groupon for 35 Euro for 2 people.
When we arrived, the owner was reluctant to put the baby chair for our child. "it' too big for your child". After insisting, we received the chair only after 15 minutes waiting. The owner and the waitress were hardly coping with the orders.
We ordered lentil soup as a started at 19:30 and received it at 19:45. The main courses (lamb curry and beef curry) were ordered at the same time, but arrived only near to 21:00!! We asked several times when it would be ready and the answer was always "just now". We noticed that other guests who arrived later had received main courses before we did.
Since our child was becoming annoyed and had to go to bed we asked for a takeaway at 20:40. My wift had to argue with the owner and explained that the child would only cry and disturb other guests. The owner would only give us the takeaway if we would pay 5 Eur more (it was 21:00 by now). Totally upset we made scene and he packed our curries for takeaway.
Coming home we discovered tiny portions, but very tasty. Though it could not make us forget the more than 1 hour wait and terrible service. The place is always pretty small and guests had to sit very close to each other.
Service is "Yes" but NO do. Checking with other colleagues after that weekend, I heard similar stories of long waiting.
Food is really nice, but only if you have plenty of time to spare. We will never go there again.
