“Food is delicious but where do I start .......”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

The food was delicious I had the fajitas the chicken was and vegetables were very good. The salad sour cream and guacamole were all together in a tiny tiny pot. There was no cheese. It was such a shame as I expected all of the accompaniments to be in little pots. My husband had the enchiladas which were excellent. The cocktails were very good. We were horrified to see the way in which the glasses were washed at the bar. They were just plunged into water and pulled out 2 seconds later. The water was not clean urrrrrrggggghhhh!!!! You can watch it. Had we seen this before we had eaten we would not have stayed. The glasses could not possibly be clean. They did not go into the dishwasher but back into the stack that the bar tender was using. The waiting was chaotic but they were very sweet, someone needs to organise it all.

Such a shame as it is a great place let down by a few small things. Quite expensive

“Not as bad as other people experienced it”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

I had a good night here with some friends. It wasn't 'haute cuisine', but what can go wrong with nacho's? Considering the quality of food the prices could drop a little, but it wasn't a bad experience for me. Location is great, next to the Bavo-church, so get a window seat. Drink the tequilla and stop nagging ;-)

“Skip It”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2014

We were seated right away at a very busy time, but we never got served. Fortunately, we sat at a table next to the bar and were able to order drinks. The bartender was excellent and made great drinks. She got us a server, who came by with tortillas and menus, but never came back to take our order. After 2 drinks and horrible tortilla chips, we decided not to stick it out. We didn't want to take the chance on the food being as bad as the chips or service.

“Low quality”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

The restaurant is nice and roomy. Service staff was not bad. The food is not very good. The guacamole that was served was not fresh and tasted like garlic, not avocado. The main dishes were not cooked at the time if they were reheated, which makes the taste is not very good.

“Surprisingly Good Tex-Mex...in Holland!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 September 2013

Um, hello, we're from Texas and to find really good Tex-Mex not only out of state, but out of the country is a RARE FIND! I don't actually recall their referring to themselves as Tex-Mex, but that's basically what it is. Fresh ingredients, terrific wait staff and excellent people-watching while you enjoy your meal.

We've been for dinner a number of times during several different trips. They're usually quite busy, but no reservation is required and we've never had to wait more than a few minutes while a freshly emptied table is cleared and set up.

We did get funny looks when we asked for Dos Equis, but if Corona works for you, they've got it. I'm interested to know if they have ANY other Mexican beers, but it's never been important enough to follow up at the time. After a day of sight-seeing and walking all over creation, we're usually more interested in re-hydrating with water over pounding a bunch of beers!
