The location couldn't be much better, in the newly built (2010/2011) Raaks buildings the restaurant has neighbours such as the Jopen Kerk, a church which now functions as restaurant/bar/nightclub, the new Pathé cinema, and various shopping possibilities. A new area in town, that has lots of potential!

The Restaurant itself has high ceilings (much too high) and has been decorated in an attempt at coming across as trendy.. However you are left with a feeling of sitting in a factory.. the lighting is horrible, and there is no ambiance at all!

In my mind, sushi is elegant, delicate and an extravagance. Even though this is an 'all you can eat'' type restaurant, you have certain expectations from a Japanese restaurant. However this place is more of a sushi factory, where the sushi is eatable, but absolutely nothing more. You can find items on the menu which are more suitable in a greasy snack restaurant.

To top it off, the service is chaotic at best (we were offered other peoples drinks and foods on several occasions).

To be honest, this place was not only a waste of my money, it was also a waste of my time!

This happened to be my first experience of a proper sushi restaurant so I felt like a rabbit in the headlights a bit.

They have an extensive menu which normally I would find worrying, it wasn't in English (not that it should be but it would help a few foreigners that don't read Dutch and it is in the middle of a big thriving city) so I just picked a load of dishes on the 'all you can eat' menu and hoped for the best.

Service was very quick and the food was delicious and fresh, portions were much bigger than anticipated so I had to give up after number 15.

Staff are like robots moving very quickly but keeping the place going, they have time for you and are very friendly.

Green tea ice cream is to die for!

Would definitely return if back here again.
