The location couldn't be much better, in the newly built (2010/2011) Raaks buildings the restaurant has neighbours such as the Jopen Kerk, a church which now functions as restaurant/bar/nightclub, the new Pathé cinema, and various shopping possibilities. A new area in town, that has lots of potential!
The Restaurant itself has high ceilings (much too high) and has been decorated in an attempt at coming across as trendy.. However you are left with a feeling of sitting in a factory.. the lighting is horrible, and there is no ambiance at all!
In my mind, sushi is elegant, delicate and an extravagance. Even though this is an 'all you can eat'' type restaurant, you have certain expectations from a Japanese restaurant. However this place is more of a sushi factory, where the sushi is eatable, but absolutely nothing more. You can find items on the menu which are more suitable in a greasy snack restaurant.
To top it off, the service is chaotic at best (we were offered other peoples drinks and foods on several occasions).
To be honest, this place was not only a waste of my money, it was also a waste of my time!
