Good points:
- Large rooms with beach views
- Great coffee
- Good breakfast and lunch buffet
- Friendly service
- Basement spa with massages (not connected to the hotel but convenienty available)
- Instant access to the beach
- Laundry and ironing service excellent and cheap,
- Environmentally friendly small thin notebooks in conference rooms

Bad points:
- Dinners bad to mediocre with very mediocre white wine
- Restaurant service clueless and ignorant (can't answer most basic questions about menu)
- Mattresses bad quality (dented in the middle, terrible for the back, terrible for sleeping)
- Wifi connection excruciatingly slow with stupid per-day per-device password access system
- Elevators tiny and slow
- Useless pens in conference rooms stop working almost immediately
- Environmental consciousness does not extend to laundry (towels and bedlinen washed daily even when left in place as the generally accepted signal that they can be used again)

Room Tip: - Check the mattresses before accepting a room - Have dinner at The Spot (great quality in both food and drinks on the beach just south of the hotel), never at the hotel - Bring your own pen - Bring a dongle if you need fast Internet access

I stayed here just for one night, I had both breakfast and dinner, both meals were superb and really enjoyable. I stayed here with a friend at Easter and really enjoyed it. Close to Amsterdam and Keukenhof Flower Gardens.
Sunset was beautiful, as the hotel is on the beach front, we walked down to the beach and enjoyed the sunset!

Room Tip: Make sure you see the sunset and ask for a sea view and they will try to accommodate your requests!

This hotel is just 1 min. from the beach, just outside the city centre of Zandvoort, but easily reachable on foot. It has spacious rooms, with all necessary facilities, the bathroom is a bit outdated but still clean. Check in was after 15.00, this was a bit dissapointing. Earlier check in was not possible.
The staff is friendly, the diner menu has not a lot of choices but the dishes are delicious. The hotel has a big parking area. Overall, this hotel is a nice place for a short break since it is very close to the beach and all the beachclubs.

The NH Hotel, is one of the first hotels you'll see on the strip in front of the sea. My experience there was ok, though it could have easily been good, if the rooms were in a better condition. Here's my review:

Check-in: I arrived early at 9 am, and was told that rooms would not be ready till 3 pm. The front desk has a luggage room, where I could keep my suitcases in the mean while.

Spa: As I had just traveled a day to get to Zandvoort, I was badly in need of a shower, before heading off to meetings. However there is no swimming pool at the hotel. I noticed signs to the spa, downstairs. I went off there and asked the lady to let me take a shower. It was 5 euros for the towel and robe rental along with toiletries and use of the spa faciities

Meeting Rooms: I was at the hotel for meetings and trainings. The rooms we had were downstairs. The arrangement and logistics were taken care of perfectly by the Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, all the technical things worked, food was regularly served and cleaned up in time. And if anything was amiss, there were phones in the rooms that we could use to call the banquet manager, and things would be fixed immediately.

Food: We had breakfast and lunch at the main dining room. They were both good, with enough healthy options as well as warm food options.

Rooms: This is where the bad comes in.... the rooms were really outdated and worn out. All the furniture was well past its due date. The bed mattress was totally saggy and did not offer any back support. Several times, I was actually tempted to move from the bed to the floor!! However the room had a nice view of the sea, and the bathroom was appropriate as well.
