In some aspects this B&B deserves better grades. It's lucky to get average overall, because It lacks professionalism in management, and in room maintenance. I checked in lateish on a wet evening in the crowded bar where everyone was avidly watching a football match, including the staff member on duty who was so laid back and uninterested in processing my booking that I really regretted my choice. No food available, but despite the weather plenty of choice in the square. Room was OK with a most comfortable mattress, but one part of the curtains was missing but no noise due to excellent double-glazing. The staff member on the breakfast shift was one thousand percent better than his colleague of the previous evening. Breakfast itself was good, but not cheap at Euros 9. Location is good, but if using a taxi from the station ask for the big church tower because no-one recognised the name of the tiny street the hotel is in. Would be really nice In summer to enjoy the garden giving on to the canal.
