I was traveling alone for business and stayed in one of the Gypsy wagons in the courtyard and really enjoyed my stay. The wagon was a really good size for one person, and I think it would even be good for two. The bathroom was surprisingly large, and even larger than my bathroom at a hotel in Amsterdam. There was a little sitting area and a table and an electric teapot. The only downside of the Gypsy wagon was limited hanging storage space.
Breakfast was pretty fantastic, and I tended to pig out each morning.
The staff were very professional and courteous.
The location cannot be beat. You can see the Nieuwe Kerk from the courtyard.
If I ever make it to Delft again, this would be my first choice for a place to stay.

Room Tip: I recommend trying the Gypsy wagons.

This hotel is tucked away just off the center square of Delft. Easy walk to everything in the town. Family owned. We stayed in one of the two Gypsy Caravan wagons. Fun way to live 'small'! One of the most relaxing hotels we stayed at during our trip to the Netherlands. Nice courtyard. Quiet setting. Breakfast included. Would recommend.

Room Tip: Did not see the 'regular' rooms. Caravans have small bathrooms...shower good size -- just ti...

We stayed in one of the rooms off of the courtyard. We were on the second floor and the rooms opened to the outside up a flight of metal stairs. The room was basic but comfortable. The main building where we checked in and had breakfast the next day was charming but the room itself did not have the same character. We would stay here again and the price was good. The location was perfect, very close to the square. The directions on their website were helpful for finding our way from the train station.

Family owned hotel for several generations, quaint bedrooms in converted bakery building, exceptional personal service, lovely breakfast selections for US and European clientele, interior courtyard, choice of regular room or gypsy caravan room in courtyard, excellent building security. Location - right behind old church on the main square in center of town. I can think of no reason to stay anywhere else in Delft. Perfection!

Room Tip: I did not see an elevator so if climbing stairs is an issue; play it safe and request a ground floor...

We had our wedding day in this old bakery with homemade wedding cake 12 1/2 years ago. As a trip to memory lane we went to the same location, now a hotel only. Still the same relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We stayed in the Pipo the clown caravan, great stay, excellent bed, 2 person shower :). The ceiling is sometimes low so you gotta be carefull when entering the bath room. Overall an excellent and enjoyable stay. We will definitely return in 12 1/2 years!

We stayed in the Abel Tasmin room. It was up 2 flights of a metal staircase.
We loved the staff/the downstairs of the hotel.
We loved the situation...but we felt the one thing that let it down was the bedroom, it was spotless and comfortable, but a little faded and basic.
It did not spoil our holiday at all, but it was a bit of a disappointment.

Room Tip: If you have mobility problems, check where your room is. There are some on ground level and others a...

Stayed in the William of Orange room. Everything was spotless, and the hotel has a comfy, friendly vibe. I love that the breakfast room and lobby area were part of the family's bakery. Staff was very helpful, and I also liked that we had a key to the exterior door so that we could come and go as we pleased. Very charming courtyard perfect for sitting and having a cup of coffee. Delft is charming and the Emauspoort is delightful!
