This is the biggest of the city gates in Leiden, It is well restored and next to it is a cafe/ restaurant where you can drink something. What makes this location nice, is that there is green around and a lot of water, so a nice setting from where you can enter the old part of town!.

This is one of the best locations in town particularly on a sunny day when you can sit outside on the terrace overlooking the water. It is more than plesant to watch the boats pass by.
The food, however, was a little disappointing and definitely not value for money. So if you are more after an experience and not into good, reasonably-priced food, this is the place to go.
