Definitely worth a visit. These houses are exactly the kind of architecture I would like to see more often in a modern city: experiencing them gives a very warm feeling, and the setup does a lot to encourage human interaction. There are 39 houses together with an interior courtyard, which also gives a nice view of the nearby Het Potlood building. Only one cube can be visited (the other are functioning apartments), but its interior is pretty impressive. There's more space than you would think, and the shape of the room makes for some really awesome window placements. It would be a lot of fun to contemplate a storm from the top floor.
Bottom line, I highly recommend spending 3 Euros (2 for students) to go inside. But even if you're really poor or cheap, there's a lot to see from the outside!
