Hotel well situated in the heart of cultural Rotterdam, but we stayed in luxury rooms not worthy of the name : bad smell in the room, on the bed and in the bathroom. Walls of the bathroom show fungus. Seats collapsed as you moved them.
All amenities as sauna, wifi,... had to be paied extra.
Not a very happy experience

My husband and I stayed in the hotel as part of a cultural package, including breakfast, dinner and entrance ticket to "de Kunsthal" .
Very friendly staff on arrival, promised us a special room ! Well we were not disappointed; we had a lovely suite on the ninth floor with spectacular views of Rotterdam, clean and a very comfortable bed.
Dinner was pleasant and breakfast excellent as in all Bilderberg hotels in the Netherlands !
Would recommend it to anyone for visiting the nearby museums as well as the citycenter right on your doorstep !

Very decent sized rooms, (mostly) helpful staff and a good location. But... bland decor, no atmosphere and overpriced business centre located in a different building. If you're staying for business and spending little time in the hotel, it does the job well, but not a tourist choice.

Never had a better hotel. The only point that can better score is the airco, he is very noisy.

Stayed here for one night back in July - as my company were paying for the trip I admit to being more indulgent as it was not my own money!
Room was lovely and spacious and very clean.
Service was top notch really excellent - especially the overworked barman who was trying to keep happy a group of Dutch businessmen all evening.
Food in the restaurant was really very good but was very pricey. As I said above if I was paying the bill myself I would have gone somewhere else but I can not argue with the quality.
Location - Centre of town so very convenient for visitors.

All in all highly recommended.

We like this hotel. After an 8 hour flight we arrived quite worn out at the hotel, but the staff noticed our state of mind and body. They have really taken care of us; early check in , jet lag tea (how about that!). Room was excellent, view over the whole city. Our business trip started out as a holiday, awesome! This hotel is alive and kicking.

I went to this hotel for the carnival weekend. This my 3rd time a group of mind have been in this hotel.
I arrived at the hotel at 10.30am. The receptionist manager was on duty who took control of my rooms which I book through an agent.
I had 9 rooms booked 1 triple, and 8 twin rooms.
I check in with the manager all rooms with him and left my room to last.
The triple room was too small to have 3 beds in it, by the way the 3rd bed is a fold up bed. I told him 3 big men can not sleep in this room and he sorted it out, to the ground floor.
As for my room he told me he will give me a nice room, the only thing nice about the room is that the bathroom was big.
After 9 months of planning, the group leader should always get the better rooms.

Breakfast: Was not all that it was cold, no baked beans, and they was always running out and not filling up quick enough for the amount of people they had had the hotel.

Bar: That bartender needs to be sack, ask for ice or anything at the bar was like a swear word, he got on our nervous ,he will not bring no business to the bar at the hotel as we went out at the end, to different bars in the area,

There are lots of food places to eat all around the hotel, lots of shops as well.

Location of the hotel for the carnival is good,as the carnival pass by the hotel on the left hand side and you can hear from your room.
