I was part of a group that had a private visit of the museum (Fantastic and worth visiting), followed by dinner in the restaurant on the top floor. The room and view are amazing.
The staff were friendly, however the food on offer was very poor. This may have been the result of what was ordered on our behalf (as a group) but none-the-less, the emphasis seemed be more on the decoration and layout of the food than the actual taste.

This was superb. First time I managed to get table for dinner, since its hard to get, I was completely surprised by service and food. Everything was as per highest standards. Not a cheap place but definitely enjoyable. If to go there, dressing up needed. Very elegant and nice place. With amazing wine list and very nice food. When I was last time there, restaurant did not have any Michelin star yet, however heard it received one meanwhile, which they definitely deserve.

You can order from the a la carte menu or go for the 5 course chef's menu for dinner. As other reviews have noted a great deal of care is taken over presentation and, unlike in some upmarket restaurants, the portions are good: I was suitably impressed by my main course of sea bass. The service is attentive, as you would expect but what lifts this dining experience above the average is its setting in a museum - not that that would be obvious if you didn't know as the dining area is spacious and subtly lit. I enjoy eating anywhere where the tables are not too close together as inevitably when they are it becomes difficult to ignore other diners - that is most certainly not the case here. I was impressed.

According to your wishes (like no meat, allergies, preferences) they offer you a 4 or 5 course dinner. Many original tastes (some you like, some you don't), and ingredients from all over the world. The food was really good and much care was taken in the presentation. Little works of art on your plate. The restaurant is decorated with ethnic art from the museum, this gives a relaxed atmosphere. Nice view on the Veerhaven. We combined it with a visit to the museum in the afternoon.
