If you are planning a short trip abroad..go to Rotterdam and stay at this hotel. It is a small bed and breakfast hotel (20+) rooms and near the centre of Rotterdam (15 minute walk or 4mins on No 7 tram). The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, as is all the hotel areas.. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the same each day, but there is variation if you are staying more than 1 night. The only criticism I would add is, there is very limited drawer space and if staying several nights, you will living out of your suitcase. If you are a smoker, there is a terrace on the roof (open 07:00 – 23:00hrs).

Room Tip: Buy a 'day travel' ticket. You can then hop on or off trams, the Metro and buses (if you can find one).

The hotel is located close to the hip Witte de With street as well as the Boymans van Beuningen museum. The rooms are rather small, so not ideal for a longer stay, but they are well organised with everything you need, including kettle. The rooms are quiet and can be made very dark. There is no fridge, but goodies can be bought at the reception.

Room Tip: For even quieter rooms, ask for a room in the back.

Tucked in between the stores on Niewe Binneweg in Rotterdam, Hotel Emma is a delight.
The owner and team are available 24/7 and are most hospitable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this centrally located establishment

Just back from a few nights in this hotel. Well it was lovely. Room was big and modern fixtures and fittings. We had a street view on a busy street. Staff and reception made you welcome. Breakfast had plenty of the usual choices. Would certainly return.

Squeaky clean hotel with spacious rooms and a great shower. We were absolutely happy with our choice. Staff was helpful and friendly, parking - albeit narrow - is easy to access and at 15€ /night cheap compared to other parkings. Breakfast (great!) even offers freshly squeezed orange juice.

The center is within walking distance, there's a metro station right next to the hotel and there's a street with many restaurants and bars just a three minute walk away. Only thing: our room faced the street and you could sometimes hear cars and people. If a lite noise bothers you, then get a room facing the courtyard.
