“Quite Good”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

The models of buildings were built nicely and they are organized. There are trains all along and the lights even turn dimmer and brighter to simulate night and day! Quite an impressive attraction but the fee is expensive.

“not a mini experience”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

This was an interesting place. Certainly of particular interest to those with a love of modelling and model railways, but I think a little something for all. Our youngest was kept amused with the buttons to 'make something happen' and we were kept amused not just by the many aspects of the city and region that have been captured in miniature, but also by the variety of funny details added with a sense of humour that had us scanning everywhere for something out of place/out of the ordinary.

“Great for model railway lovers!”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Miniworld is a very impressive model layout of areas around Rotterdam. (We have also visited Minatur Wunderland in Hamburg, which is on a totally different scale and even more impressive!).

The detail is very good and there are lots of little 'extras' to find - great for kids- such as The Teletubbies, a penguin family on an ice-berg, a giant car......I could go on! We spent about three hours here looking at all the details even without any children in tow, so it would be good for them too.

As one other reviewer said, there are lockers where you can put your coat or bag, making it easier to walk round and take photographs.

“a must for train lovers”
Reviewed 19 April 2014

This is a model train lovers heaven. I really enjoyed the visit to Mini World, so many trains, so many details - you could spend hours there.
Unfortunately there were very few trains running in the basement section (small scale trains).

“I've died and gone to a tiny little heaven.”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

This place is incredible. The level of detail is just amazing. We enjoyed picking a location and searching for amusing details such as emergency services attending an incident or a farmer lifting a horse above his head! It manages to achieve a perfect balance of authentic scale models and a quirky sense of humour. The interactive elements were great and everything was working correctly. The layout is enormous and seems to go on forever - all with an incredible amount of detail. It is a very short walk from the station and makes a perfect diversion if you have spare time. The staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful giving us directions to other attractions in Rotterdam and making sure we knew where we were going. Miniworld really is a hidden gem.and is well worth an hour or two of anyone's time.
