We went there for just One night and got a very tiny room with 4 bed for only 2 People.
The bathroom should have been cleaner in some edges and the bed aren't that comfortable
For the low price comparing with other rooms in rotterdam it was ok - but only ok for One night.

A good sized Family room with plenty of space that was clean and tidy. A good continental breakfast choice, with fresh fruit and hot croissants amongst other things. Work is being done on the hotel so it does look run down. However it is well located near the Central Station and has both the Metro and a Tram stop within 5 minutes walk. There is a parking garage directly across the road, which is €30 per day, the same as other parking garages in the city. The only downside being in a room on the front of the hotel was the nightclub that went on until 4am. The sound insulation on the Windows needs improving.

Room Tip: Best room for quiet is one that faces the middle of the hotel

Some of the online reviews do simply not match the truth of how run down this hotel is.

From the bell on the main desk, the hallways, the lift, the bedroom, the shower to the minimal choice of food selections for the continental breakfast..everything was simply unacceptable for the price we paid. Oh, and the bedroom smelled strange until my wife described the smell as 'old semen'....enough said! Have a look at the photos. Might be nice when everything has been renovated...

We arrived to find a drunk vomiting in the lobby. She was still there and still vomiting an hour later. The next day we returned to the hostel after some sightseeing to find that the elevator was out of order so we walked to our room on the third floor to find water pouring through the ceiling and a centimeter or so of water on the floor. Several books and a map that were sitting on a chair with some clothes were soaked. The one bright spot was a very pleasant and sympathetic desk clerk who assigned us a new room. She did not seem surprised at the problems we presented. It was clear that she was the only employee present at that time in the facility. We were offered no assistance in moving. When I turned back the covers on the bed there was a dirty sock between the sheets. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. The tub did not drain, the paint was Peeling and the bathroom door would not close. The electrical outlet did not work. We were told the manager's name was Paul Kaston. He refused multiple requests to talk with us and has yet to respond to emails I sent. For this I was charged almost €500 for two nights, something I mean to contest. I filled out a "restitution form" with the suggestion from the clerk that at least 50% of my bill would be refunded. As of today, almost a month later, this has not occurred. As we left the hostel The next day the elevator was still out of order and there was no apparent attempt being made to repair it. Still, we were happy to walk down the four flights and leave the place.
