In his previous restaurant 'De Jonge de Jong' we enjoyed the setting and the food. So we were rather curious to find out how much he had tweaked the formula.
The setting is quite different but (however little it looks like a dining room) makes you feel comfortable very quick.
The food? Well, to begin with, there is no menu. You choose the 'focus on veggies' option or the 'meat and fish' option. And you get served a four course meal. So you're in for a surprise. We've been there once so I have no idea how often he changes the menu. But I'd guess: rather often judging by the dishes we got. Like a dish with 'daslook' which is the first fresh green nature produces after winter: highly seasonal.
All dishes were delicious, with a special mention for the desert. We got a moulleux. But not an ordinary one: the chocolate cake wasn't filled with chocolate but with red beet. Combined with the flower syrup, an explosion for all senses!
